Smart About Salt is an innovative winter salt management program.

What will I learn?

The training will teach you about the Smart About Salt program; how to become a certified contractor or site; the environmental effects of salt; the 5 Rs of salt management; Risk Management & Record Keeping; Salt Science; Rates & Calibration; Materials & Tactics; Storage & Handling; and Weather Principles.

What do I get?

You will become a Smart About Salt Accredited Operator and be listed on our website.

Your company can promote its operators as Smart About Salt Accredited.

Is there a test?

Yes there is a test and you will be required to pass the test to become Accredited.

How do I Register for the Next Training Program?
