Smart About Salt Council (SASC) Certification

Classroom We offer Certification for both contracting companies and sites.

To achieve Certification, you must apply and demonstrate that you have met the Smart About Salt Council (SASC) standards by completing the "Essentials of Salt Management" award-winning training available online (in both English and French) and in class.

To maintain certification an annual report is required and random program verifications may be conducted to verify achievement of SASC standards.

Certified Contractor/Company - $299.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments A company that applies for and meets the requirements for SAS documentation, training and information. Maintenance of training standards and filing of annual renewal documentation is required in order to renew certification. Registration to Become Certified - $698.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Your Register Your Intent to Certify include the "Essentials of Salt Management" online training. You are required to have successfully completed the "essentials of salt management" training in order to qualify for certification. Registration to Become Certified is non-refundable.

Those certified are required to renew annually.
