  • Who should become Smart About Salt Certified
  • The Certification Process
  • Why you should become certified

The program is sponsored by the Region of Waterloo and is geared to local organizations responsible for snow and ice control including:

  • Facility managers (municipal, institutional, manufacturing, retail, school boards)
  • Snow and ice control contractors
  • Insurers

Kitchener and Waterloo businesses may qualify for stormwater credits to save on your monthly utility bill.
